::The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is one of the landmarks in Castries and I must say a quite impressive one at that. The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is accessible from various approaches in the city and the exterior as well as the interior is worthy of note. Photography of the interior is not only tolerated but actually encouraged (not to disturb an active service, mind you). My best friend from College is a longtime member there and speaks highly of the services and the many pleasant interactions there. Definitely a worthwhile point of interest in the Capital and the well kept grounds and Church buildings with interesting architectural and artistic details is a must see.
